French-style Saison Oct 11, 2018 Beers This is our latest pilot batch of a 6.7% abv French-style Saison that was dry-hopped and conditioned on Sauvignon Blanc soaked American oak spirals. It is bone dry with a fruity bouquet and finishes crisp like a sparkling white wine. These French farmhouse style moments are a testament to what hard work and a dream to own a country home in France can bring into fruition. So today Sly Fox announced that they would be releasing their spicy Belgian Style Ale, Grisette, in cans. The description sounded like a Saison to me, but after doing a bit of research I found that Grisette was it's own distinct beer style, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of information about it on the internet aside from the fact that it was brewed primarily for miners in Southern Belgium, to be consumed during the summer. If anyone has any additional info it would be much appreciated.
